Lawyer Biography: Cheryl Blum

At the core of a personal injury lawyer’s value to clients is her ability to try cases to a jury. Cheryl Blum began acquiring jury trial experience as a prosecutor for the Tucson City Prosecutor’s Office. There, she prosecuted primarily DUI cases and began amassing a resume of varied types of criminal trial successes. She then went into private practice turning her attention to domestic relations work. There again, she expanded her litigation skills in what many consider to be the most contentious and challenging of legal fields.

After ten years of honing her skills in divorce and custody matters, Ms. Blum turned her attention to personal injury law. In representing injured clients she combines her extensive prior criminal trial experience with her civil law background, to provide exceptional quality to clients. She has worked on hundreds of personal injury cases and welcomes the challenge of taking on insurance companies on behalf of injured people.

Ms. Blum graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona in 1989. She attended the University of Utah Law School in Salt Lake City before returning home to Tucson where she has practiced law since. She is a fluent Spanish speaker.
